We Will Introduce Teaching By Setting For Every Child And Ensure A Environment Of Respect And Discipline In Every Classroom

Improving discipline, fostering an environment of respect and dealing with the issue of anti-social behaviour in our schools is fundamental to ensuring children get the education they deserve. As your MP, I would campaign hard to shift the balance of power in every classroom back in favour of the head teacher and ensure this is a top priority for me in Parliament.
Delivering more teaching by setting, which stretches the strongest and nurtures the weakest, is crucial to ensuring every child has the opportunity to learn in a way that is best for them. No child must ever be left behind and I believe that using setting is important in this regard.
