An Incoming Conservative Government Will Freeze Your Council Tax For Two Years

Whenever I speak to local residents, they tell me that the local Liberal Democrat controlled Stockport Council Tax keeps going up year after year, but that they seem to get very little in return. That is why I am proud of our policy to help local Councils deliver a council tax freeze for two years. We need to cut down on waste and bureaucracy in local authorities and deliver those savings to residents. This is especially true during these hard financial times. As your MP, I will campaign hard to hold the failing Liberal Democrat controlled Stockport Council to account and ensure the people of Hazel Grove get greater value for money.
