Last week, Prospective MP for Hazel Grove, Annesley Abercorn attended the Conservative Party Conference in Birmingham. During his time there, he helped out on the Conservative’s Social Action project which was at the Welsh House Farm estate. Volunteers, including Annesley spent time pulling out weeds from the ground and planting bulbs. Annesley said, ”I’m so glad that I was able to see for myself what a wonderful job volunteers are doing on the Welsh House Farm Estate. Already, some big improvements have been made. It just goes to show what volunteers working together can achieve. All this work is going to make a huge difference to the people living on the estate. The area is being cleaned up, and their lives will be improved as a result of that.” Annesley added, ”It has inspired me to look into finding a project in Hazel Grove where volunteers can make a similar difference.”.
