Annesley Visits Manchester Airport
On Friday 17th October 2008, Annesley Abercorn, the prospective Conservative MP for Hazel Grove took a behind the scenes look around Manchester Airport including the airfield and surrounding area. Annesley said, ” I was very grateful to the staff at Manchester Airport who put together a most informative and interesting visit for me. The airport is responsible for thousands of local jobs and is of great significance to the local and British economy.” He added, ”I was also pleased to see that they are doing everything possible to reduce their impact on the environment.” .
